Magic Review: The Hangover

Not since Knocked Up (2007) have I laughed so hard in a movie! Only a couple of times a year does a film come out that makes you laugh out loud on numerous occassions. This movie is one of those. Todd Phillips the director of Road Trip, Old School and Starksy & Hutch (I almost gave it no mention) brings us the tale of Doug and his marry band of men - Phil (Bradley Cooper) , Stu (Ed Helms) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis). The men have a wild night in Vegas and wake up in there 7 star hotel room at Caesars Palace with no recollection of what occured and a tiger in their bathrom and unknown baby in there laundry basket. Then begins the journey of back tracking there steps and finding Doug who has been missing in action. Along the way the trio encounter some seriously funny episodes, which include encounters with Japanese Mobsters, Mike Tyson and Strippers with whom one of them has unintentionally married! I think this movie is a great addition to the work Todd Phillips has directed and I will be sure to get it on DVD upon release. I recommend it for all who want a good laugh.

Magic Rating: 7.2/10
